Bio:

Unmaker, a Dutch heavy metal band, emerged from the picturesque province of Drenthe, netherlands. Founded in 2019, right before the Covid-pandemic, the group brought together a diverse mix of musicians who shared a common passion for heavy music and a desire to create something unique. The band’s lineup consists of experienced musicians, each bringing their individual influences and styles, which combined to form the signature sound of Unmaker.

The founding members of Unmaker included guitarist and singer Rowan helmich, guitarist and singer Bram van Luik and drummer Tom de Vries. Each member brought their own musical inflences, which ranged from classic heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to modern metalcore and progressive rock. With bassist Rowan Hofsteenge later completing the bands’ formation, they laid the groundwork for Unmaker’s sound – one that combines melodic elements with the heaviness of metal.

In 2024, Unmaker releasaed their debut single ‘Scavenge’. Nearing the end of 2024, their second single ‘Pulverize’ will be released. In January of 2025 Unmaker will release their first EP named ‘Plague Mankind’.
