Taken from Metalyard:

” We would like to share something important with you. As you may have noticed, there has been an abundance of new shows and festivals added over the past year.

Due to this oversaturation, we all have to make choices, and these choices have direct consequences. Smaller festivals like Metalyard are feeling the impact, particularly in terms of ticket sales, which are currently lagging behind.

Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Friday’s events and focus entirely on Saturday, April 6th. The lineup for Friday, April 5th, will be cancelled, but the lineup for Saturday, April 6th, remains unchanged. We hope that this significant decision will secure a future for the festival.

On Saturday, April 6th, we will come together with Winterfylleth, Molllust, Officium Triste, Slechtvalk, Never Obey Again, Son of a Shotgun, Lord Volture, Splice, Columbarium, Ecocide, and Battled to experience an incredible celebration! But of course, we need all of you to make it happen. Purchase your day tickets quickly, so we can create an unforgettable day together.

Tickets purchased for Friday will be fully refunded, including service fees. Those who have purchased weekend tickets can receive a full refund or choose to receive the difference between the weekend ticket and a day ticket. Everyone will receive an email explaining the process.

Let’s come together to make Metalyard on April 6th an amazing event!

Warm regards,

Metalyard”
