Founded in the early 1990s, they created their own sound in the technical death metal genre, which was later featured on their debut album Tyranny from above, released in 1993. After their absence of about 20 years, Ceremony has risen out of the darkness. The result is the blackened death metal, full-length, album “Retribution”, released in 2019 by VIC records. Retribution represents the new style of Ceremony as the third album is being formed.

Originating from the Netherlands Spartan are the perfect example of a band which combines Power Metal and Death Metal! Their lyrics are inspired by tales of ancient Greek mythology and are themed around heroic battles, gods and demi-gods in a glorious ode to the past. The energetic elements of power metal perfectly blend with harsh vocals riling up the audience for the well anticipated solos which are played with excellent technical musicianship by two very accomplished guitar players. The band consists of Jeffrey Rademakers on vocals, Pieter Vink and Nick van Beusekom on guitar, Mike van Bekkum on bass and Frank Bos on drums.

Following the release of their first EP in 2009, they embarked on a tour across Holland. The success of the album speaks for itself as Spartan performed throughout Europe between 2009-2013. Most notably they have shared the stage with the likes of Marduk, Septic Flesh, Moonspell, Negura Bunget and Greek legends Rotting Christ, before releasing their debut album . A new chapter was added with the release of in early 2022 where the band took it up a notch both musically and professionally.

Horizon Tide started out as an alternative rock formation in 2015 in Amsterdam. Combining elements of heavy and progressive rock with Daan’s screamy vocals, Horizon Tide brings a unique blend of heavy rock. Influenced by bands like Chevelle and Tool, Horizon Tide could be compared to Black Map and Taproot.

The first EP, Disembark – Disconnect, was released in 2016. With that, a new energetic liveshow was also born. Horizon Tide brings headbanging riffs and a lot of energy to every stage they play. In 2018 the band was part of the Dutch Metal Battle competition and things were looking bright. However, every great band needs a disaster story, and Horizon Tide’s started right after. The drummer got injured and broke a wrist and an elbow, and finding a drummer capable of all the weird progressiveness the band does seemed an impossible task. Luckily the drummer recovered but by then the other guitarist decided to part ways. And of course right at the time the band found a replacement, the Covid Pandemic hit.

During the pandemic however the band has been able to redefine their sound and work on new tracks. The new guitarist brings in more metal than before, and as a result the songs have gotten heavier, more headbangable, with even more energy than before. In the summer of 2022 the band will release two brand new tracks, one of which will also be accompanied by a video clip. Horizon Tide is ready to take over the stages again, even more so than before! Ride the wave with us!

Man As Plague is a 4 piece metal formation from the Netherlands created back in 2011. Not wanting to adhere to 1 type of metal they use influences from all over the metal spectrum. Hardcore, deathcore, death metal, it is all mixed together in one brutal form. Since their formation Man As Plague released 3 EP’s and 4 video clips. “The Frail Compass” is the band’s latest release and can be found on all digital media platforms. Playing live is what Man As Plague is all about, high energy, grooving breakdowns, and a massive wall of sound and energy. Spreading their plague ever further……. A unique sound, coupled with one hell of a live act. This is one band you don’t want to miss!

Anger Machine is a five piece Thrash Metal band from the Netherlands formed by graduated guitar player Thijmen den Hartigh in the summer of 2015. He asks the same musicians he asked for his examination of the Conservatory to join his band, and a talented guitar student of his to play the bass. The band’s sound is modern, combining groovy parts with melodic and harmonic guitar playing. The catchy songs are composed in a clever way, creating variety, but still forming one whole together. Beside the outstanding songwriting the band’s distinctiveness lies in the Metalcore vocals and the high-class guitar solos which both leave their unique mark on the sound.

On the 24th of September 2016 Anger Machine releases its first EP “Unbreakable”, featuring five songs. At this point the band also starts playing live shows in the Netherlands. Less than two months later on the 19th of November the band already win their first battle at the Bruut Battlefest. Shortly afterwards their single “Warpath” was issued, featuring a cover of Sepultura’s “Dead Embryonic Cells” as a B- track. For the “Warpath” single, the band decided to work with producer David Hazeleger, resulting in a significantly improved sound that does much more justice to the band’s energy and aggression. The band released their first full length album ‘Trail of the Perished’ on July 5th 2019. David Hazeleger has done the production of the album again to ensure continuation of the band’s recent gains in momentum.

nThrough words and music the Dutch metalcore 4-piece Ann My Dice expresses their feelings and thoughts on social issues, world intoxication, a hint of love and all related matters. The band’s clear vision encourages never to stop asking questions and gives a loud call for action. By means of melody and heaviness Ann My Dice emposes power to their message. The band delivers a musical experience best described as the boosting riffs of Killswitch Engage combined with catchy hooks of While She Sleeps carrying the mood of Trivium. With a vigorous live show Ann My Dice knows how to translate each and every of their songs into a musical journey. An adventure in which things get done. Fists will rise to the sky, heads will bang from bodies and mosh pits will burst at the seams. Let yourselves drift away on the sound and be guided by the energy. O, and don’t forget to hoist your socks. To welcome the summer of 2021 and start off fresh Ann My Dice released a novel single called Deliver Us. The song describes the bands own, though relatable, experience. In short: often enough people pretend to be different from what they actually are in order to live up to expectations and the perceived expectations of others. We put on a mask just to fit in. With this song we ask for deliverance from that inconvenient habit. A behaviour that can in fact only be adjusted by ourselves. Ironically, in the making of Deliver Us Ann My Dice dropped the mask and changed its own methods. Leaving them way more satisfied with the process and the outcome. Consequently, they believe to have made a song with a unique musical direction for Ann My Dice, which paves the way for growth. While you are reading this Ann My Dice is working on a mint new EP. Deliver Us is the follow-up to the 2020 released single In Vain which came to live after both a lyrical and musical discovery of new grounds. Previously, the band released the EP Thorn which consists of three melancholic metalcore songs about love and pollution. Ann My Dice debut album To Start A Journey (2015) opened the doors to both national and international stages, and festivals covering most of Europe. Countries such as The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Croatia and Italy have been inundated with Ann My Dice’s metalcore.n“},{“box”:1,”content”:” [if 48 not_like=””][/if 48]n
