We are The Unslain, a four piece Modern Old-School Metal band based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Our music consist of a combination between 80’s and modern heavy metal. Raw vocals supported by heavy riffs and a nasty groove with a polymetric flavor and maybe some breakdowns are characteristic for our songs. By taking inspiration out of the classic 80’ heavy metal and nowadays modern metal(core), The Unslain created a crushing new sound. Live we bring a dynamic show in which we play only self-written work. Songs from our debut album “We Will Battle” are played alongside newer material from our upcoming album called ‘Descending’. Together with our stage production we promise a highly energetic yet extremely tight performance. On the 20th of April 2019 we won the audience prize in the Dutch (Wacken) Metal Battle. Very proud of this result, new music is coming very soon!

Hellevaerder, founded in 2017, started as an idea to make black metal sung in Dutch. After some searching and fiddling with the line-up, the first release ‘Aan de aarde teruggegeven’ saw the light in 2018. After this release, Hellevaerder got a taste for it which resulted in the single ‘Gehekeld door een ieder’, and was released in early 2019. After a change in the line-up, the single ‘Krijgers’ was released at the end of the same year.

Founded by the up-and-coming guitar phenomenons Sonia Anubis (CRYPTA, Ex-BURNING WITCHES) and Sebastian Silva (UNTO OTHERS). COBRA SPELL is slithering its way into the revival era of the 80’s Glam and Heavy Metal sound. The worldwide sleaze quintet is completed with Alexx Panza (HITTEN) on vocals, Sonia Anubis on Lead Guitar, Esmée Van Sinderen on Rhythm guitar, Angelina Vehera on Bass and Léonard Cakolli on Drums. Second founder Sebastian Silva, is still being involved with the band activities and lyrics writing as a low-key member of the band.

In September 2020, the band released their debut EP titled Love Venom. The songs paint a glistening image of night-life fun, reckless lust and sleazy love. Love Venom is an EP driven with many shred guitar parts, hook infused vocals and thunder-like rhythm sections. With this release, the band saw many positive reviews worldwide, pushing their drive to make new music even further.

In December 2021, the band gathered up in Madrid, Spain, to record their second EP. Anthems Of The Night was recorded in December 2021 at PKO Studios. Produced, mixed and mastered by Alejandro Gabasa Barcoj from Comeback Studios. The band meticulously crafted 4 new songs, aptly fit for a summer’s night drive with the top down and the music loud.

They also shoot their first videoclip, for the song “Addicted To The Night”.

With a shared preference for Sumac, Cult Of Luna, Amenra, Briqueville and bands alike, Erik, Marc, Patrick and Jouke decide to join forces in the fall of 2020. Having great affinity for post- and blackmetal, the band members scan the existing borders of the doom genre, thus giving their own spin to it through burdensome riffs, crushing drums and eerie vocals.

The lyrical focus is on the greater philosophical, scientific and esoteric questions such as the obstacles of the psyche and the wistful prospects for mankind.

With multiple nationwide shows and as a supporting act for Dopelord, Ter Ziele has made a promising start in 2021, leaving an early mark on the Dutch metal scene. Behind the curtains a full-length record is in the making, marking these two new singles as runner ups in the first quarter of 2022.
