Het Nederlandse MOUFLON keert terug. Ze slaan de handen ineen met het Amerikaanse Iron Fortress Records voor hun derde full-length album 'Eros & Thanatos'. Het album komt op 3 juli uit op cd en digitaal. In Europa brengen Vespertilio en The Limit Records het album uit op cd en lp.

Across eight tracks, 'Eros & Thanatos' delivers a feral strain of death metal, wild and unrestrained, reflecting the creative destruction of its title. Streaming now, opening track 'The Divine Wind' sets the pace immediately, bursting from the gate like wolves across a frost-choked wilderness, driven by tremolo riffing, hammering drums, and the guttural bark of R.J's vocals.
Speaking on 'The Divine Wind' vocalist R.J said: "As the opening track of the record, 'The Divine Wind' serves as a defining statement of intent and one of the overarching themes of the album. The sound of death from above. Creep inside the mind of the special attack unit as they mentally prepare to die. The last defense. Loyalty and honor to the death."
Drawing from the foundations of Autopsy, Bolt Thrower, Gorefest, Asphyx, and Entombed, MOUFLON channel those influences into something primal and unrestrained, like an avalanche indiscriminately burying everything in its path. The result is a record defined by a relentless tension between creation and annihilation, where life and death collide as a single force, echoing 'Eros & Thanatos', bound in a single unending struggle.
