Opium Deathsticks is de tweede naam die uit de voorrondes van de Metal Battle dit jaar komt rollen. Ze wonnen het afgelopen week in de Voorronde Flevoland van ZubZero, Levikta en Cult of Carnage. We stelden de band een paar vragen om ze beter te leren kennen.

Female Fronted Symphonic Metal is a genre the Netherlands is known for. More so, outside of our tiny country, cause Within Temptation is one of our greatest export products. Soon we might add Pandora’s Key to that list. With their latest album Yet I Remain they prove that the Netherlands should still be known for great symphonic metal besides just tulips and cheese. Let’s dive into this 45 minute-long symphonic album and see what we think.
Congratulations to Opium Deathsticks, who won the preliminaries for the Wacken Metal Battle Netherlands in Flevoland. They battled it out with Cult of Carnage, ZubZero and Levikta and won. They will advance to the semi-finals in Veldslag Oost.
